What do you guys think about The Doors? I think they're freakin amazing! Jim Morrison was a total bad ass, plus the music was original, inventive and great! Also, what are your favorite Doors songs? Mine are some of the less-known ones, such as Love Street and Soul Kitchen, but I also love ones like Break On Through and Riders on the Storm too.
Hi, I'm not a huge Doors superfan or anything, but they were definitely creative. I like riders on the storm, Love her madly, and break on through. Ironically, my sister's friend died in high school, and Break on through was played at his funeral. Kind of sweet, but kind of weird. Oh yeah, I also like light my fire.
The only CD I have related to Jim Morrison or The Doors is An American Prayer.
Omg, The Doors were absolutely amazing! One of my very favorite bands, and Jim Morrison was a very talented man. "An American Prayer" is my favorite by far--I'm a huge fan of Jim's poetry. But as for actual songs, "Love Her Madly", "L.A. Woman", "Texas Radio and the Big Beat", "Peace Frog", et cetera. And the movie that was made about him and the rest of the band, with Val Kilmer, is awesome.
